Click-to-call Services
Click-to-call (CTC) refers to the process of converting web-based traffic into direct telephony communication between an end user and some other entity.
Click-to-call processes vary depending on the platform, but there are two general formats of CTC.
The first uses a computer to complete the call (typically PC-based VoIP.) The other type of CTC is a callback, where a user enters their phone number and an intermediary service connects the end user to the merchant. These services are more of an automatic dialing service than an actual “click-to-call”.
